At CrossFit Midtown, our workouts are:

Functional - Our students are training to not suck at life. We incorporate functional movements to better equip you for whatever life throws your way. Whether your life involves chasing criminals as a police officer or chasing toddlers as a parent, we'll get you in shape to make those day-to-day tasks easier.

Scalable - Everyone with the right attitude can get a great workout at CFM because every movement is scalable. That means we have different versions of each exercise to accommodate everyone from retired grandmothers to pro athletes. Grandma can work out in the same class as a pro athlete, and both will get a great workout. She might have a lighter load or modified exercises, but she'll still see results from the same program that keeps the pro athlete in shape.

Constantly-varied - BORING workouts are lame. Our workouts are constantly-varied, which means you'll seldom do the same workout twice. That means something different every day of the week, every week of the month, all year long...aka NEVER BORING.

High intensity - It's time to step outside your comfort zone into your Red Zone! Visits to the Red Zone bring the results you're looking for: changes in body composition, mental toughness, AND people start to notice that new swagger!  WARNING: these results will take a good bit of working hard, sweating, and listening to your coaches... if you're not cool with that, stop reading now.

THREE major things set CrossFit Midtown apart from other gyms:

1. Fun, knowledgeable coaches - You'll be coached from beginning to end of every class. That includes warm-up, mobility work, strength and skill practice, the daily WOD and cool down. We'll teach you the safe, proper way to perform each exercise, help you measure and track your progress, and help with (and hold YOU accountable for) reaching your goals.

2. Effective programming - that means we're not just picking workouts out of the sky at random. Our training program is customized for our students, to get you in the best shape of your life. Let us take the guesswork out of planning your own workouts. We'll do a combination of training, along with occasional testing so you can see your progress. You'll learn the difference between pushing to your absolute limits when testing and finding your sustainable pace/effort level during training sessions. If you work hard and stay present and focused every time you step foot inside the gym, this program will give you amazing results.

3. Accountability - Showing up to class is important. That's why you'll have a primary coach to encourage your attendance and transform the way you view health and fitness. Soooo, we'll call you if you go missing, teach you to track your workouts and progress, and be there to help celebrate your big achievements!

Our group classes mix a spirit of teamwork, accountability and camaraderie into each session. Add in our regular seminars, events and social outings and BOOM! Events - We host regular seminars and PR challenges to complement our regular programming. You'll also love our regular social outings, when members get to hang out in "regular clothes" outside the gym.
