Friday, July 6th:ANT-MAN and the WASP Movie Premiere! CrossFit Midtown has a group of tickets to see the movie at Midtown Art Cinema on Friday evening at 8 PM. We have a limited number of tickets available at this rate so hurry and claim yours now! See front desk for details or FB event.

Saturday, July 7th:ANT-MAN Partner WOD at CFM! Workout is planned for Saturday morning in each group class and we’ll split into teams of 2. Workout will have 5 “Ant” feats of strength or skill to complete in a 5 round workout with heavy barbell complex. Reserve you spot on Saturday morning for this superhero themed WOD!

50 burpees for time.
Every minute on the minute complete 5 V-ups (V-situps). – start with burpees
Rest 4 minutes and complete another round.

Post time to complete all burpees. Ex: 5:45/6:25 Rx.

B. 12 Minute EMOM

2nd Minute: 12 Dumbbell Bench Press (m = 25/35/50s, w = 15/25/35s)
3rd Minute: 12 Slam Balls (20/14)
4th Minute: 12 Burpees

Post load for squat and fewest reps for each movement in EMOM.

Workout of the Day: GROUP WOD

A. Power Cleans: Every minute on the minute 1 Power Clean (80% of 1 RM) for 10 minutes.

B. Group WOD: In teams of 2-14 (entire class) complete 20 reps per person for each of the following movements:
Toes to bar
Deadlift 275#
Tire Flips
Box Jumps (24/20) Step downs only

[20 minute time cap]. May be completed in any order and any size interval. All athletes may be working at the same time. Each member of the team must complete a minimum of 10 reps of each movement.

Post load for power cleans and time to finish group WOD. If time capped post percentage of reps completed:
Ex1: 115, 12:12 T2R
Ex2: 215, class of 5: 375 out of 400 = 94% Rx
