Get to Know Us

Foundation Assessments

New CrossFitters and those with less than 1 year of experience or have not completed the CrossFit Open are required to complete a one-on-one Foundation Assessment. 

We’ll collect some of your background info, then discuss CrossFit and explain how we do things at CFM. Once all your questions are answered, we’ll get warmed up, teach you a few exercises, and then take you through a baseline workout. This is a full CrossFit workout, so please bring a towel, some water, and be prepared to sweat! You’ll get a taste of CrossFit Midtown, our training and our community, all in one hour!

Foundation Assessments are $25 and are non-refundable if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. 

Trial Classes (> 1 year experience)

Experienced CrossFitters (1 year or more experience or have completed the CrossFit Open) may take a Trial Class. If you are considering joining CFM, we’d love to have you try one of our group classes. Email us, call us, or fill out the contact form with your CrossFit experience, and we’ll send you the link to reserve your class. 

Trial Classes are $25 if paid in advance. If you are considering joining, the drop in fee will be applied to your first month’s membership when you join!

COVID-19 Precautions

We require vaccination to train indoors.

You can email us your Covid Vaccination Card or bring it or a copy with you to the gym. If you have not had your first dose yet, you may train with a recent Covid Test and negative results within the past 72 hours of attending class. Thank you for your consideration and helping to keep our community safe when you join us for training!

our services


All of our CrossFit classes are group classes, coached by a certified CrossFit coach. We start with a warm-up, do the workout together, then stretching and cool-down. Our workouts are:

CONSTANTLY VARIED – The workout changes every day of the week, and you’ll seldom do the same workout twice, except for workouts we use to measure your progress. 

HIGH INTENSITY  – It’s time to step outside your comfort zone to get the results you’re looking for: mental toughness and changes in body composition. Results will require hard work and and listening to your coaches.

SCALABLE – Everyone can get a great workout at CFM because every movement is scalable. We offer and teach multiple versions for every movement, every class to accommodate everyone from retired grandmothers to pro athletes. 

FUNCTIONAL – CrossFit is full of functional movements to better equip you for whatever life throws your way. 


Yoga is the perfect complement to CrossFit – loosening up those tight muscles to help your body recover. All of our memberships include free access to our weekend restorative Yoga classes, every Saturday and Sunday. Our yoga instructors are also CrossFitters, so they understand how to structure classes to get the best recovery based on the week’s workouts and how people are feeling. 

Olympic Weightlifting (Barbell Club)

Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Squats. Barbell Club teaches the mechanics of the Olympic Weightlifting movements. New cycles start every 8 weeks – at the beginning we establish our maxes, and at the end, we try to set new ones. Barbell Club will help you increase your overall strength and improve your movement quality during CrossFit WODs.

Personal Training

If you want extra help on particular skills, aren’t quite ready for group classes, or want to add to your weekly training, we offer one-on-one Personal Training classes. We will schedule with you individually outside of group classes. 

Nutrition Coaching

Our Nutrition Coaching Program at CrossFit Midtown is very unique and is designed to provide individuals with an easy, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness, using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting.” Imagine the confidence of walking into the grocery store or a restaurant knowing exactly what you should eat to feel and look great!

The internet is filled with diet plans and recipe plans. Many programs out there tell you what NOT to eat or how to replace meals with supplements or a shake, but we can attain this confidence through learning what TO eat – using whole foods with limited ingredients. Ours is a program to build life-long skills one step at a time!

Specialty Classes & Workshops

Throughout the year, we offer specialty classes, individual programs for specific movements, and short-term workshops, so that you can learn new skills or increase your strength in new ways. For example, some of our programs have included:

  • Aerobic Capacity Workshops (8 weeks) – build your engine with running, rowing, and swimming.
  • Gymnastics Skills Workshops (2-6 weeks) – learn new progressions for movements in workouts and improve your handstands, handstand walks, toes to bar, muscle-ups, and more!
  • Pull-up Program – Do you want a strict pull-up or to learn how to butterfly your pull-ups? We have a phased pull-up program to meet you where your skills are and take you to the next level. 
  • And more!

Physical Therapy

We have a physical therapist on staff, Dr. Kris Cambron, who can help you stay healthy and prevent injury. Schedule an appointment on demand the next time you need dry needling, cupping, or exercises to relieve a nagging pain before it turns into an injury!

The pyramid says it all. Nutrition is the foundation of everything we do.


You can’t out-exercise a bad diet. 

CrossFit makes you accountable because the workouts are much harder if you eat cookies the night before. 

CFM’s Nutrition program combines behavioral change with achievement to create habits that will last a LIFETIME.
